The current study aimed to identify the effect of using metacognitive thinking in understanding moral concepts among eighth grade students Jordan. researcher used quasi-experimental approach developing comprehension ethical concepts. prepared a test measure sample, which consisted (72) two groups (control – experimental). reached several results, most important is existence an strategy for tenth students, where experimental sample outperformed control students. recommended necessity teaching all other units Islamic education, as unit (creed, interpretation, hadith.
